Why choose Exercise ?
Exercise is the best way of
healthy weight loss with no side effects.
Regular exercise helps you burn fats and gain muscle tissues. You can
lose weight in a natural way this way as it increases the production of burning
enzymes by the body. It helps you maintain physical fitness and more importantly, your health.
The many
benefits include stimulation of the immune system and maintenance of healthy
bone density and body mass index (BMI). When your body is deprived from being
physically active, it can potentially lead to significant risks for many health
problems such as cardiovascular diseases. Besides that, exercise reduces
cholesterol level that in turn avoids diabetes and heart diseases.
Mentally and emotionally, it
can also help you feel happier and lighter. Exercise battles against stress,
anxiety and depression, even insomnia.
One of the preferable traits of
exercise is the flexibility and different variety of exercise we can try out.
You can go as easy as doing household chores or as hard as a 5km sprint.
Overall there are three types of exercise that differs in how they affect the
human body: flexibility involving stretching movements, aerobic involving heavy
movement such as running and cycling, and anaerobic which is to do with weight
and functional training. Whichever type
that you choose, it is always important to have fun and mix things up to avoid
repetitive movement that can either bore you to tears or minimize the effect it
has on your body over time. One of the best ways to enjoy can be by doing
things with a partner or in group.
Why choose DIET?
Many may probably choose
dieting because in their mind, it is the fastest way to slim down. The truth is however subject to change as the level
of consumption is entirely up to the individual who may choose slow dieting or
even a dieting for a purpose besides to slim down. Generally those who go for
diet are less concerned about their health and toned looks. This may also be a
choice for those who are unwilling or unfit enough to choose exercise as the
way to shed those pounds.
One of the good things about it
is that it forces us to do a calorie count and monitor our consumption
carefully to avoid consuming more calories than needed consistently.
Moreover, diet can come in many
forms and even be personalized to suit the individual’s needs. In general,
there may be four kinds of diet; low-fat, low-carbohydrate, low calorie, and
very low-calorie diets. Other types of diets exist as well such as protein diet
and red meat diet.
The severity naturally is up to the individual, and below
are some suggestions of ways to reduce calorie intake without drastic alterations-
· Replace
fizzy drinks and fruit cordials with water.
· Swap
whole milk for semi-skimmed, or semi-skimmed for skimmed.
· Eat
less lunch than usual. For example, make your own sandwich and
limit the use of
margarine or butter and full-fat mayonnaise (store-bought
sandwiches often contain
both).
· Stop
taking sugar in tea and coffee.
· Have
smaller portions of the food you enjoy.
· Avoid
having a second helping at dinner.
· Cut
out unhealthy treats – such as confectionary, sugary biscuits and crisps
between meals.
